Meet the Staff
Kathy Webb
Director
Kathy has been a teacher here since 1986, although, she has been in the teaching field for over 25 years. In the beginning years she taught the young 3´s. She moved to the 4/5´s for one year before settling in to the older 3´s where she taught for the next 14 years. In January 2003 the Director retired and she stepped into the role of teaching and directing. After 2 years of juggling both roles the decision was made in 2006 to devote full time as preschool director. Although she is no longer in the classroom as a teacher she spends a lot of her time with the children, staff and parents.
Tami Barrow
Assistant Director, and teaches Younger 3 year-old & Cherubs classes
Tami has been a teacher here for the last 6 years but again she has over 25 years in the ECE field. She started for us as a co teacher in the extended care program for the first year and went right into teaching the younger 3´s the following year, which is where she still is today. In 2004, in addition to her teaching duties, she started teaching the Cherubs Program in the afternoons as well as becoming the Assistant Director.
Stacey Webb
Teacher, Older 3 year-olds classes
Stacey started with us in the summer of 2003. She started as an aide, teaching summer school with Ms. Tami and Ms. Kathy. In the fall of 2003 she went on to co teach in our T-Th extended care class. After 2 years of teaching extended care she changed classes to co teach with Ms. Kathy in the older 3´s class. When the decision was made for Ms. Kathy to go to fulltime directing Stacey took over the older 3´s class.
Kathy Kidd
Teacher, 4-5 year-olds & Extended Care classes.
Kathy came to us mid-year of 2002. She had been teaching in the Fairfield City program before making the transition to teaching in our 4/5-year-old class here. She teaches with Ms. Jillian in our M-W-F and T-Th classes as well as helping with the nappers and cherubs in the afternoons.
Jillian Coffelt
Teacher, 4-5 year-olds & Cherubs classes
Jillian came to us in February of 2005 and went right into teaching the 4/5 year-old class mid year with Ms.Kathy. She also teaches the cherub program in the afternoons. She came to us fresh out of college but has plenty of teaching experience. Her experience comes from teaching at a home daycare for many years. When the home daycare closed we were blessed to have Jillian come to teach with us.
Diane Holmes
Teacher, 4-5 year-old Extended Care classes on T-Th
Diane started here in 2005 as an aide for one of the 4/5 year old classrooms. The following year she stepped right up to the teaching position and teaches with Ms. Pat. She spent some time out at Solano Community College before coming to us. She teaches the T-Th Extended Care Class and comes to us with many years of experience and knowledge.
Patti Irwin
Teacher, 4-5 year-old classes on M-W-F
Patti has been a part of our preschool since 1997. During her years here she has done everything from subbing, to teaching, to serving on the preschool board and teaching in our cherubs program. She was instrumental in implementing our cherubs program in the beginning years. She now teaches with Ms. Tiffani and has been teaching the M-W-F 4/5 year-old class for the past 4 years.
Pat Rickley
Teacher, Extended Care classes on T-Th
Pat teaches the T-Th morning extended care class with Ms. Diane, she is the early birds teacher in the morning and is one of the afternoon cherubs teacher. Pat was the 3 year old teacher when the school first opened. She taught here for 6 years before leaving us to start her own home daycare. We are excited that she returned to our staff.
Tiffani Lanting
Teacher, 4-5 year-old class on M-W-F
Tiffani is a new teacher to our preschool this year but is not new to the teaching profession. She comes to us with years of experience and is very active in the churches VBS program as well as being the nursery teacher on Sunday mornings. We are excited to have her as part of our staff and she will be teaching with Ms. Patti on M-W-F mornings.
Monica
Teacher's Aide
We got to know Monica as a parent and now we are glad to welcome her to our staff as our teacher's aide. She works 8:00 A.M. -1:30 P.M. M-F. She starts her morning with the early bird children and then makes her way through the classrooms visiting with the children, playing games and assisting the staff when needed.
