Classes

3/4-Year Olds

We offer two 3 year-old classes. They both follow the same basic curriculum but are split up according to birthdays. They start the year learning their colors, one color a week and in late October they begin learning shapes. In January-March they learn numbers 1-10 and throughout the year they will explore the beginning stages of the Handwriting without Tears Program. From April- June they will review all concepts presented. We will be teaching them about the structure of a classroom setting, learning how to share with friends and learning how to express their ideas and thoughts, in a loving, Christian, caring environment. Play is a big component for our 3 year olds along with academics.

4-5 Year Olds Pre-K class & the 5 day Pre-Kindergarten Class

This class is designed for the child going to kindergarten the year following preschool. In this year your child will learn colors, shapes, numbers 1-20, the Frontline Phonics Program and we will use the Handwriting without Tears Program Workbook. Aug- September will be the colors, shapes and numbers. In September they will add the phonics and handwriting program to their day by learning 1 letter a week until the end of the year. Our program offers a great balance of play, math, phonics and handwriting.

Cherubs Program

Cherubs Program

Our Cherubs program has been a part of our preschool program since 1996. It is an extension of your child's preschool day. It runs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week during the school year from 11:30am to 2:00 pm.

During this time, the children hear a Bible story, do a Bible project, learn religious songs and enjoy free play with friends. Children who choose to participate are asked to bring their own lunch. Drinks will be provided. On Fridays we offer free play and an art activity during the Cherub time slot. Again your child brings his/her lunch and plays with friends from 11:30am to 2:00 pm.
